Reppublika is a young, multinational media-tech company headquartered in Vienna, developing our own SaaS product in the field of online advertising, access panels, and digital market research. We are looking for a full-time Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support our team and be accountable for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of our development program. The successful candidate would be working both on-site and from home office alongside colleagues in Austria, Latvia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece.
At least 6 years progressive work experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines / technologies / processes as well as at least 2 years managing teams and / or significant complex projects
Proven, prior experience as Release Train Engineer in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation. Experience coordinating multiple teams in a technology environment.
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams, and experience in software development in an Agile environment.
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing and explaining technical and project related information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff.
Ability to easily build new relationships and proactively establish a variety of contacts across the organization.
YOU WOULD BE ASKED TO
Lean the coordination, preparation and execution of release planning for the ART. This includes:
Working with the ART team who prioritizes the features in the next PI planning cycle, helping improve communication and coordination with stakeholders and customers during feature definition and delivery.
Ensuring effective , transparent and frequent communication and coordination for and during quarterly planning, as well as across the program and stakeholders
Understanding and manage upstream/downstream dependencies, driving delivery and continuous improvement through feedback and metrics
Supervising and steering the overall cost, time/schedule, and performance of the program, analyzing program budgets and estimates from all relevant parties and stakeholder
Managing program-level coordination, such as creating timelines, milestones, and cadence of increments and releases and oversee the development of reports and analyses that document program activity.
Helping to develop and improve operating policies and procedures related to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) best practices and processes, acting as an ambassador for sharing Agile and SAFe knowledge across the organization, coaching teams, team leaders, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
