Position: QA Engineer - Specialized in Automated Testing
Location: Hungary (Debrecen) or Bosnia (Sarajevo) if employed or within whole of EU if freelance
You would:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Conduct thorough testing of our flagship products to identify defects, performance issues, and usability concerns, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to the improvement of testing processes.
- Execute test plans, report defects, and track issues using appropriate tools and systems.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and communicate findings to the team for timely resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of software quality by providing insightful feedback.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in automated testing to drive innovation within the team.
You have:
- a degree in CS, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent work experience.
- Three years or more experience as a QA Engineer with a strong focus on automated testing.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing automated test scripts and frameworks using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Appium or similar.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as TypeScript, Python for test automation.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and defect tracking systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software.
